The #DomenicaAlMuseo initiative returns on Sunday 6 October, an unmissable opportunity for our guests to explore the wonders of our province with free entry to museums and state archaeological parks. 
 Sorrento Peninsula:  
The only state museum on the Sorrento peninsula is a real jewel to be promoted: the Territorial Archaeological Museum of the Sorrento Peninsula "Georges Vallet" in Villa Fondi, located a few steps from Meta! This fascinating museum is housed in the splendid rooms of Villa Fondi de Sangro, one of the patrician residences that characterize the architecture of the first half of the 20th century. 
The museum was born from the need to collect and document the results of the excavations carried out in the area, with the aim of reconstructing the various phases of population and transformation of the Sorrento peninsula.
