Christmas 2025 in Sorrento

Throughout the Christmas season, the heart of Sorrento will also host Santa’s Village, designed for families and children. With shows, creative workshops, and refreshments offering traditional holiday sweets, the village will be a place to soak up the true Christmas atmosphere. During the Christmas holidays, the traditional Nativity Scene Exhibition is also expected at Villa Fiorentino. The exhibition, which in previous years has brought together dozens of artisanal nativity scenes created by local masters and schools, will open from December 1st to January 18th. The historic rooms and splendid terrace of Villa Fiorentino, overlooking the sea of ​​the Sorrento Peninsula, will offer the perfect setting to discover the art of the nativity scene: from characteristic Neapolitan shepherds to contemporary interpretations, in a narrative journey that invites contemplation of the Nativity and tradition. Admission to the exhibition is free. Among the Christmas events in Sorrento, “Araprite ‘e purtune, ce sta O’ presepio” stands out, a one-of-a-kind living nativity scene set in the ancient gates of the historic center.
